VCCS Journalism Class Hosts St. John's Photography

At the close of the 2022-23 school year, VCCS made the decision to partner with St. John's Photography as our new official school photographer. This choice has proven to be an outstanding one, marking the beginning of an enriching and exciting relationship. St. John's has gone above and beyond, capturing not only individual and class portraits but also sports team photos and dynamic game-day highlights, providing real-time snapshots of our Kings in action.

But, the St. John’s and VCCS partnership doesn’t stop at photographs. This past Thursday, after taking class pictures and make-up portraits for those who missed the first round, the St. John photographers took extra time to invest in our students. They visited our Journalism, Social Media, and Sports Management classes, sharing valuable insights on photography techniques and maximizing social media presence, specifically within our school facilities. The students gained tips for capturing high-quality images and learned strategies to elevate VCCS’s presence on digital platforms.

This learning experience was incredibly well-received by our students, who expressed sincere appreciation for the expertise shared by St. John’s team. We are grateful for St. John’s Photography and all of our community partners, whose commitment to our students’ growth and learning is invaluable. Together, we’re creating an environment where students are inspired not only academically but also creatively and professionally. We thank God for ordering our steps in every area.
