Empowering and Equipping students to become successful readers!

Once a month, a Steele Creek Children’s Librarian visits with our preschool and kindergarten students, engaging them with storybooks and songs.

Our Mission:

Our goal is to improve the reading fluency, comprehension and literature appreciation of our students and surrounding community.

The VCCS King’s Library has:

  • An online catalog service
  • The Raz-Kids Tracking Program
  • A Read to Lead Incentive Program
  • Student volunteer opportunities
  • Annual book fair and drive
Students make biweekly visits to the library to check out books, enjoy hands-on enrichment lessons, and learn valuable tools to that help them achieve and become the leaders of today.
